Healthy complete food has been taught to us since the beginning of our childhood. The aim is for us to grow with having the nutritional needs being completed. When our body has all the nutritional needs fulfilled, it will use those nutritions to help shape and grow our body.




Healthy foods are foods that contain complete nutrition ranging from carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, fats, and minerals. Healthy food consists of staple foods, side dishes, vegetables and fruit. While the other need is milk which is an additional nutrient.


Side dishes are all kinds of food served as a main companion to rice dishes, generally containing a lot of protein, both animal and vegetable. Animal side dishes, including meat, poultry, fish, etc. Meanwhile, vegetable side dishes in the form of tofu, fermented soybean cake, etc.

Vegetables are all types of plants that can be consumed, whether taken from roots, stems, leaves, seeds, flowers or other parts used to be processed into food. Vegetables contain nutrients that function to regulate metabolism (body work processes). This regulatory substance consists of water, vitamins, and minerals. This type of nutrient is found in many foods derived from vegetables and fruits.

While most vegetables contain vitamins according to their color: Green vegetables contain lots of chlorophyll, Vitamin A and Vitamin B. Red or yellow vegetables contain lots of carotene and Vitamin A. Yellow and sour-tasting vegetables contain lots of Vitamin C. has a sharp aroma that contains a lot of sulfur such as cabbage, radishes, onions, bananas, and others.



With fruits, our energy supply can increase rapidly. This additional manpower is very urgent to deal with a hectic schedule. Therefore, athletes are often seen eating fruit, before, during breaks, and even after training or competing. Fruits such as apricots, apples, bananas, berries, grapefruit, and oranges, are best for protecting the heart because they are rich in flavonoids, carotenoids, fiber, potassium, and magnesium. Fruit also contains vitamins A, B6, C, E, K, and folic acid which can control cholesterol levels and ward off diseases related to heart and stroke. Type 2 diabetes is a major problem facing the world. Although fruit is actually healthy for everyone, there are some types that contain excess carbohydrates that are not safe for people with diabetes to eat. Fruits such as apples, avocados, cherries, bananas, and oranges can still be consumed because they have a low glycemic index, which is less than 55 so they can help control blood sugar levels.


Milk has many benefits for children. Not only does it keep bones healthy and strong, but milk also helps the overall development and growth of children. Milk is one of the best sources of calcium. Regularly drinking milk will make children's bones healthy and strong and reach optimal bone density at the age of 25-30 years. Milk intake for children also affects their height. Vitamin D is often added (fortified) in milk. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium from various sources. Milk fortified with vitamin D is believed to help increase the growth of children's bones and reduce the possibility of brittle bones in the future. Vitamin D can help reduce inflammation and boost a child's immune system. Vitamin D deficiency can increase the risk of osteoporosis in the future or rickets in childhood. Milk is rich in calcium and phosphorus, which are most important for the development of children's dental health. Calcium and phosphorus together help maintain healthy teeth. One of the most important proteins found in milk is casein. This helps form a thin film on the surface of the tooth enamel and helps prevent the loss of calcium and phosphate. This is most helpful when a child's teeth may be exposed to acid appearing in the mouth. Cow's milk is a source of potassium (potassium which can increase vasodilation and lower blood pressure.
